Only a valid member of the cavy organization SZCH (ZO morčiat SZCH) who is at least 15 years old may apply for the kennel name (the applicant will become the first owner of the kennel). A kennel may have two equal owners provided that at least one of them is at least 15 years old. The second owner must have permanent residence in the same country as the first owner, must be a member of the same cavy organization SZCH, and must be over 6 years old. Both owners have the right to represent the kennel, but for administrative changes, both owners must give their consent.
The kennel name may contain a maximum of 25 characters, including spaces, apostrophes, hyphens, and case sensitivity applies. The name must be meaningful, unique, and must not resemble the name of any already registered kennels, also considering foreign language variants of the names (see Complete List of Kennels). If neither the desired nor the alternative name is recognized, the breeder may apply for a new kennel name through a new application. More information can be found in the Chovateľský poriadok (Breeding Regulations).
The application is subject to a fee according to the Price list of services PK. The fee is non-refundable if the conditions for granting the kennel name are not met.
